We primarily use Supermicro hardware as it is very reliable, modular and offers superior management features. We also use HP and Dell equipment at several of our locations.

We leverage our geographically diverse datacentres across Australia and New Zealand to build a resilient network that automatically fails over in the event of an upstream outage.

Basically, thanks to the diverse connectivity to local ISPs from each of our 10 datacentres, we are able to easily and swiftly route around any upstream issues. In addition, our datacentres are all interlinked with high-speed intercapital fibre, which is what enables this re-routing of traffic between locations in the event of an interruption.

All servers include IPMI management, meaning you can retain control even though your physical server equipment is no longer on-site. This is a web portal and remote console for your server that allows you to issue power commands (i.e. start, stop and restart) directly to the power controller.

IPMI runs on a separate network, so is a lifesaver if ever you lose access to your operating system. In addition, IPMI allows you to remotely mount ISO files and reinstall your operating system.

An advanced security and threat system is also included, which logs and alerts you to any malicious distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks targeting your server.

All services include 24/7 support from our Network Operations team, who can assist in the unlikely event of a service interruption or network issue.

Our services are self-managed, meaning that support for operating systems or software is not included as standard.
